On the afternoon of March 4th, in order to welcome the upcoming 60th Learn from Lei Feng Day, further promote socialist core values and inherit and carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng, Guanlin Town held a volunteer service activity to learn from Lei Feng. Ten volunteers from Weiai Public Welfare Workshop participated in the activity.
At the event site, the judicial, fire, public security and other departments set up popular science publicity points, staff and micro love volunteers for the masses of free red books and publicity manuals, close communication with the residents, popular science knowledge, to answer questions. The site also has folk culture, native products display point, scallion cake, sesame cake and other special food also arouse evervone’s childhood memories.
In the prime of life, youth flies in the sky. Weiai volunteers stick to their volunteer service positions, assisting the staff in arranging the scene, coordinating the sound equipment, maintaining the order of the scene and doing a good job in logistics support. At the same time, they advocated reading for the whole people and distributed books such as ”On the History of the Communist Party of China” and “Da Mei GuanLin” to build a scholarly atmosphere of “reading more books and reading good books”
Where there is heat, there is light. Public service has a long way to go. Weai volunteers will demonstrate their youth responsibility with practical actions.
