March 8, 2023 marks the 113th International Women’s Day, the 100th International Women’s Day in my country, a day to commemorate the struggle for women’s rights and liberation. As an enterprise with more than 85% female employees, our company always pays attention to the rights and interests of women, focuses on the needs of women, and appreciates the sweat and efforts of female employees in their work.
On the afternoon of March 8th, our company held a “Harmony Song, Poetry, and Classics” recitation to celebrate the “March 8th”, read beautiful articles and classics from thousands of years , read the Chinese classics and walked with sages, and welcome women’s festival.
Poetry expresses one’s aspirations, and songs always speak. Five thousand years of culture, three thousand years of poetry. Read the classics, We praise the literary excellence of the ancient sentence.Celebrating March 8th together, we feel the value of self-confident and independent thoughts.
This activity was attended by all office staff and some workshop logistics personnel, and was divided into 10 groups. The selected articles were patriotic classics represented by Mao Zedong’s “Qinyuan Chun•Snow” and Yue Fei’s “The River All Red”, which were impassioned and heart shaking. There are bold and unrestrained poetry represented by poets such as Xin Qiji and Su Shi, which directly express one’s feelings and boldness. There is a Yuefu folk song called “Mulan Poem” that depicts the heroine Mulan, who is braver than a man. There are modern poems and essays such as “I Love This Land”, “Farewell to Cambridge Again”, and “I Love Setting Out”, which are sincere and resonating in emotions.
This activity, in the form of reading classics, provides a stage for our female employees to improve their ability and show elegant demeanour, and fully shows the healthy and energetic mental outlook of female employees. We spent a beautiful and happy festival together. I hope all employees can continue to contribute to the high-quality development of the enterprise in the process of feeling love and being loved.
