“Encounter Books and Meet People” Reading Sharing Session

No ship can carry a person far away like a book, nor can a horse carry a person like the dancing lines of poetry.

Recently, at our company’s YOUNG Reading Corner, members of the reading club and summer college students held a reading sharing session titled “Encounter Books and Meet People” together. Each participant carefully picked up a book, opened it, and shared it, allowing words to reactivate our observation and perception of life and enabling reading to re-establish a close connection between us and the world.

1. Reading and Sharing

One person’s reading benefits many. During the summer vacation, college students shared excellent books such as “Ordinary World”, “To Live”, “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”, “Goats Don’t Eat Paradise Grass”, and “The Store of Solace”, infusing new understanding and direction into their lives through reading.

Members of the reading club shared excellent books such as “Lost Manufacturing”, “Influence”, “The Quagmire”, “Cliff Mountain”, “One Sentence Is Worth Ten Thousand Words”, and “A Life of Three Thousand Yen”, covering multiple fields including psychology and life philosophy, social and interpersonal influence, literary and narrative works, historical and industrial research, allowing everyone to come into contact with more book content within a limited time. Inspire new thoughts and inspirations.

2.Knowledge Quiz

After the reading sharing session, we held a “Fun Knowledge Quiz” and carefully prepared small stationery gift packs for everyone, encouraging them to enjoy reading and read happily. The activity was divided into three groups for a literary knowledge quiz, which effectively promoted communication and collaboration among them, exercised reaction speed and expression ability, and enhanced the cohesion of the reading club.

Reading is a dialogue with wisdom. It awakens our inner desires, expands the boundaries of our thinking, and together with the Yueqingchun Reading Club, we seek balance in the fast pace, walking inward and exploring outward.
